Murder of James Crick - Page 3
Bedfordshire Libraries, 2007
Continued from Page 2.
It was not known how the murderer had enticed Mr Crick away from his house. The footsteps of Mr Crick and the murderer could be seen in the snow leading from the house and they appeared to have walked at "an easy rate" to the place where the murder took place. Here the "treacherous wretch" turned on Mr Crick and stabbed him. After emptying his pockets he returned to the house where he attacked and killed the housekeeper.
