A faithful narrative of a most cruel, horrid and barbarous murder which was committed in the parish of Lidlington in the county of Bedford in the evening of Friday, the 20th January, 1809 on the persons of Mr James Crick, dairyman and Mrs Rebecca Read, his house keeper. Being a full account of the circumstances at present known, attending this most sanguinary and diabolical deed as taken from a a minute examination on the spot and from the evidence produced at an inquest held on the bodies on the Monday following, by Richard Ambrose Reddall, Esq. Her Majesty's Coroner for the Honour of Ampthill.
