You can now search the 1911census on-line at
www.1911census.co.uk Searching the index is free, you can search through the census index to
find an ancestor or to find out who lived in your house. Once you are sure
of the record you want you will need to register and buy credits to view and
print a transcript or an image of the original handwritten page. To view a
transcript, all of the household of your ancestor, is 10 credits and to view
an original page is 30 credits.
