Remember
By Maureen Spiegleman
Like precious chrystals in the starlight glow.
Howling wind, the trees weighed down with snow
Summer pleasure slip away, dew like frost on grass.
Gone, fluffy clouds of summer that shimmer as they pass.
Linger for the sight and sound where a million stars alight
Silence fills our ears in this cold and fearless night.
Gone the world where birds sing, to give my spirit rest,
Remember, the lost delight that my soul possessed.
The season of wisteria buds bursting forth with pride,
Orchards top most branches blossom side by side.
Silhouettes like angels dancing dressed in white
Stars we will remember twas such a glorious sight.
