Q: I have been using the EBSCO service - what should I do?
A: You will still have access to the EBSCO service until the 31st March, so please log in and make a note of the titles you have downloaded but not listened to as access to them will disappear after the 31st March. You can then download them again on the new site.You will need to re-register for a OneClickdigital account and the OneClickdigital Media Manager - then can download and listen as you have before.
Log in using your library card number and PIN and follow the E-Audio - OneClick link.
Q: Do I need to be a library member to download E-Audio?
A: Yes. You will need to log in using your library card number and PIN to access the Online Resources page. From there follow the link for E-Audio - OneClickdigital.If you are not a member you can join online here.
Q: How do I register for an OneClickdigital account?
When you reached the OneClickdigital site - click on Create a New Account
towards the top right hand side of the screen.
Complete the online form - remember to make a note of your username and password.
Don't forget to include your library card number and select your computer
operating system and your preferred download method - these can be changed at
any time.
Click the Create an Account button.
You will see a confirmation page and the option to download the OneClickdigital
Media Manager.
Q: How do I install the OneClickdigital Media Manager
A: In order to listen to and manage your collection you need
to download the OneClickdigital Media Manager.
If you selected "Yes" for Use OneClickdigital Media Manager as my default player
when you created your account you will be brought to the Player Tutorial the
first time you attempt to checkout a title.
Also, the installation process will begin automatically.
Before you Begin! You will need
Windows Media Player 10
200 MB of free disk space or 512 MB of RAM
Make sure your web browser is setup to allow pop-ups.
1. A file download dialog box will appear that asks you to
Run, Save or Cancel. Click Run.
2. Next you may see an additional dialog box letting you know that the publisher
cannot be verified
and asking you if you are sure you want to run the software. Click Run.
3. Next you will be prompted to install Microsoft .Net Framework 4 if it is not
currently installed
on your computer. Click Accept. It will take a few minutes while the
installation package verifies
application requirements.
4. Next, you will see a dialog box prompting you to install the application.
Click Install.
It will take a few minutes to complete the installation.
5. Once the installation is complete you will see a dialog box welcoming you to
the OneClickdigital
Media Manager. Click the Next button.
6. You must acknowledge that you have reviewed the License Agreement and accept
the terms in the
agreement. Once you have done this click Install.
7. Finally, click Finish. This will launch the OneClickdigital Media Manager.
8. Click on the Connect to Profile button, select your username, enter your PIN
or password and
click on Login. This will connect your online digital media collection to the
media manager and allow
you to listen to selections you have downloaded.
9. OneClickdigital Media Manager will open!
If you did not choose to use the OneClickdigital Media Manager as your default player, but decide at a later time you would like to install it, click on the button that says Download OneClickdigital Media Manager. You can then follow the 10 steps above.
Q: How do I download and listen to the E-Audio files?
A: You can download your E-Audio files using the OneClickdigital Media Manager and listen to them using Windows Media Player, iTunes, or your portable media player. PC.
You can download titles with OneClickdigital by clicking the Checkout Now button on the right side of the screen when you are viewing the title detail page.
Click Allow, the Media Manager will launch and the file will download into the OneClickdigital Media Manager if you have already downloaded it. If you have not already downloaded it, you will able to do so at this point as well.
Alternatively you can use the Manual Download option.
Q: Are new titles added to the E-Audio catalogue?
A: Yes, there are at least five new titles added every month. You can see the details of these new e-audio titles here.
Q: How many E-Audio titles can I have on loan at one time?
A: You can borrow and download up to fifteen E-Audio titles to your personal computer for playback using the your PC, Windows Media Player, iTunes, or other compatible portable media players. They are loaned for up to three weeks.
If you have 15 E-Audio files on loan, you cannot download another one until the loan period expires on one of the ten. To see the time remaining on a loan, log in to your account and go to My Collections. When the loan period expires for an E-Audio title, you can no longer access it from your personal computer or portable listening device. Once a title has expired you will need to manually delete the file from your PC or portable media player.
Q: How do I browse the available titles by genre/subject?
A: To see a full browsable list of titles by genre or subject, with images and synopsis, use the dropdown box next to 'Browse' - click on the chosen genre/subject and then click on the arrow image. You can also see the Newly Added, Featured and Most Popular by using the tabs on the homepage.
There is also an option to search for the 'Target Audience' - allowing you to filter the genres by Adult, Children, or Young-Adult categories. You can find this on the right-hand menu after key word searches (search with no entry to see all availability) or the advanced search option.
Q: How do I see the books I have checked out?
A: To see your current checked out items, how long they have
left before they expire, etc follow the instructions below:
Log in to your account
Enter your User Name and Password
Click on My Collections
All your checked out items will appear here - You can download again at any
time.
Q: Can I reserve e-audio books?
No, as there is no need to. All titles have unlimited downloads, this means they can be borrowed by multiple people all at the same time.
Q: Can I renew E-Audio without downloading the file a second time?
A: Yes. You can choose to renew your E-Audio file any time during the original loan period. Please log in to your NetLibrary account to renew. If you have not deleted the file from your PC (and portable media player), you do not have to download the file again, simply renew it and obtain a new license. An E-Audio title can only be renewed once.
Q: Can I remove (return) e-audio files from my checked out items list?
A:Yes, if you have finished listening to an audio book before the expiration date and you would like to return it and check out another title you may do so from the OneClickdigital Media Manager. Simply click on the button that says Return Now under the information for the title in question under the Checked Out tab.
Q: Are E-Audio files automatically removed from my computer when the loan period expires?
A: No. You will need to manually delete the E-Audio file from your PC and portable media player. You can delete an E-Audio file in the same manner as you delete other files.
Q: Can I play E-Audio on portable media players?
A: Yes. Follow this link to see a list of devices that work with OneClickdigital.
Q: How do I listen to E-Audio in the car?
A: You will need the appropriate connection that works with your portable media player and car stereo. Contact your device manufacturer for specific requirements.
Q: How do I get the downloaded e-audio tracks to play in order using my i-Pod?
A: There are two ways to ensure
your downloaded e-audio book tracks play in order:
Option A.
Use the 'Manual download' option which will download the E-audio book as a
single file.

Option B.
After downloading the E-audio book, group the individual tracks
together in iTunes by creating a new playlist, and then sync the entire playlist
to your iPod. When you play the book as a playlist on your iPod, you can ensure
the tracks play in the correct order.
Q: Are there apps for my smart phone or mobile device?
A: There are free Apps for OneClickdigital members to use the Media Manager with their Apple devices. There are two apps; one for Apple Mac PCs and one for iPhones, iPads and iPods. Simply search for One Click Digital in Apple's App Store or follow the links from the banner ads on the front page of your OneClick website.
The new apps enable you to search and download e-audio from OneClickdigital all from your mobile Apple device such as iPhone. It also means Apple Mac computer users can download protected files via the media manager as well as unprotected files.
We are also developing an Android app for smart phones and other non-Apple devices which will be available later in the year.
Q: Who do I contact if I have problems downloading and listening to E-Audio?
