We offer free access to WiFi hotspots in the following libraries: Bedford Central, Biggleswade, Dunstable, Flitwick, Houghton Regis, Kempston, Leighton Buzzard, Potton, Putnoe and Sandy Library.

WiFi is wireless technology which connects you to the Internet, at Broadband speed, using low power radio waves.

How do I use the Library WiFi?
If you have WiFi enabled device of your own, you can access the Internet
- all you have to do is
log on with your library card number and PIN.

Is there a time limit?
Yes - You can access the WiFi connection for a maximum of 180 minutes each day.
Is there a download limit?
Yes - You can download a maximum of 200MB per day.
The Library Service anticipates that users of WiFi will adopt a sensible
approach to the use of the service. Where there is cause for concern over an
individual's use of WiFi the MAC address of your device may be blocked without
warning to ensure fair and equitable access to the network.
What should I do if I have a technical problem?
There should not be any problems. However, if you do experience any difficulties talk to a member of staff or call 01234 228787 (Open Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.00pm, there is an answer phone out of office hours)
