MRS W. Farr, of School Bungalow, in Mill Lane, Potton, sent us these pictures showing Land Army ladies in the grounds of "dear old Hasells Hall," near Sandy, in 1949.
"Many happy hours were spent playing rounders and working in the grounds on lovely summer days," Mrs Farr wrote.
"All the girls in the picture were happy, healthy and good chums. Alas, we all went our separate ways when the Land Army was disbanded in 1950. I hope they have been as
happy as I have. Oh how those faces bring back happy memories."
