As a library member you can access a range of e-resources by logging in with your library card number and PIN.
- Gypsy, Roma, Traveller - articles, books, audio and video clips
- Credo Reference - online books, including titles on peoples and cultures, such as 'An African Biographical Dictionary', 'Cassell's Peoples, Nations and Cultures', 'Holidays, Festivals, and Celebrations of the World Dictionary' and Black Firsts'.
- Oxford Reference Online - includes the 'Oxford Companion to African American Literature', the 'Oxford Companion to Black British History' and the 'Oxford Guide to Countries of the World'.
- Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (ODNB) - online biographies of people who have been prominent in this country and who are no longer living.
- Oxford Art Online - a vast art resource. To find introductory guides to 'African American Art' and 'Asian Art', click 'Tools and Resources' then click 'Thematic guides
- Oxford Music Online - a huge music resource, where you can search for music styles, musicians and dance from around the world. Includes classical, jazz, popular music, traditional music and more
- Newspapers online - search the Newspapers for articles from international, national and regional, daily and Sunday newspapers
- The Multicultural pages on WebLinks - general sites covering many cultures; sites specifically for Black and Asian people; sites with Italian and Polish information; and Roma and Travellers sites. There is also a separate Family history section which covers family history from around the world
- Local Information Database - click 'Search' then choose to search by 'Subject' and select the Multicultural entries on the drop-down menu Library catalogue - search for more books on specific topics
