    • Hundreds of reference books for you to search and browse
    • The'Gateway to the classics' section of Encyclopeadia Britannica has over 220 works by 140 of the western world's most influential and well-known authors
  • For web sites, see the Books, Literature, Poetry and E-books, General section of WebLinks which have links to complete online texts that are of out-of-copyright literary works.
    Also the sections Classical literature and Medieval literature gives links to historical literature
