Product reviews
- 'Which?' magazine gives detailed product reviews and highlights 'best buys'. It also includes feature articles on services and current consumer issues. You can read 'Which?' magazine at any Central Bedfordshire or Bedford Borough library
'Approved Traders'
- Many councils have schemes, run by their Trading Standards departments, which help the public find local traders who meet certain standards
- For the local schemes see Central Bedfordshire's Trader Approval Schemes and Bedford Borough's Trading Standards Approved
- There is also a national scheme, Trustmark, listing traders who meet certain Government endorsed criteria
Shopping guides
