This site, 'The official non-parochial BMDs service', has started putting online unpublished non-parochial registers from 1534 to 1865. They cover people whose key life events were not registered in the Anglican registers and include key non-conformist registers such as Presbyterians, Baptists and Wesleyan Methodists. They include births and baptisms, marriages, and deaths and burials

The first central database of statutory burial and cremation registers for the UK and Republic of Ireland. Searching is free and can be restricted to country, region, county, or individual burial authority or crematorium. English and Welsh Register Offices
Register office addresses (including references from former registration districts). Certificates cost slightly less if you order from the the local register office at which the birth, marriage or death was registered than if you order by post, telephone or fax from the General Register Office (but the GRO cost is the same if you order online and supply the GRO reference numbers).

You can search millions of names on this site, produced by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Includes the IGI (International Genealogical Index), the 1881 British Census, and much more. You can find the nearest Family History Centre, run by the Church, by clicking the 'Library' tab. Online Parish Clerks
Offers free transcriptions compiled by volunteers for 10 counties, giving details from parish registers, census and cemetery records, churchwardens' accounts, overseers' accounts, land tax records, wills, directories and church and village histories. It is not complete and some areas are better than others. It is a work in progress but well worth a look at.
