Willington is a small village, 4 miles from Bedford, and 52 miles from London, in the hundred of Wixamtree, and diocese of Ely, on the River Ouse. The living is a vicarage in the gift of the Duke of Bedford; the Rev. Henry Fuller, M.A., residing at Bedford, is the vicar and present incumbent. The church, dedicated to St. Laurence, is a fine structure, with a tower. The population in 1841 was 268. The parish contains 1,648 acres, 1 rood and 10 perches. The Duke of Bedford is lord of the manor.
