Jonah and his "wife"

Jonah was installed in the 19th century having been brought from Ashridge House, Hertfordshire in 1844.

The other figure, often known as his "wife" is a man in a three corned hat and was erected in 1953.

The sculptures can be seen close to the bridge on an island in the river.
