T-Dan Sputnik Visits the Library 2

T Dan Sputnik driving in traffic "It must have been the diversion at intergalactic Spaghetti Junction," said Dad, when he had calmed down. "I bet some wretched space cops have turned the signs around at the underpass and we just zipped straight through the Earth/Squink portal at the Planet and Firkin pub. Great! We are really lost now!"

T-Dan had played hide-and-seek with the on-board robots so many times that he had used up all his favourite hidey-holes. In any case, the robots had been told to get lunch.

He looked out of the window again. "Mum!" he yelled, "I want to visit a library and borrow some books. We had a lesson at alien school and the teacher told us that Earth children love visiting libraries. They read for fun as well as to learn. I'm bored! I want to learn about Earth people and do what they do."

"Well, I need a break," said Dad, screeching to a halt and reversing up. "Off you two go and I will study the map again."
