Margaret Perry, a fellow land girl, lodged with Mr and Mrs Frank Brim in a cottage in the High Street,
Eyeworth. She met Jesse Herbert Deeble, a farm worker, where he worked, fell in love and married him on 21 September 1946 after being demobilised. Mary and Margaret remained life-long friends. |
