AccessToLaw is a gateway site, providing annotated links to selected UK, Commonwealth and worldwide legal web sites. Over 1300 sites are currently included. Their policy is to include sites which will be of relevance primarily to practising lawyers in the UK. There is a particular emphasis on sites which contain substantive law or related materials, or which will help the legal practitioner to find such information.

Intellectual Property (IP) results from the expression of an idea, so IP might be a brand, an invention, a design, a song or another intellectual creation. IP can be owned, bought and sold. This is the site for the official government body responsible for granting Intellectual Property (IP) rights in the UK. The site gives full guides to these rights, including patents, designs, trade marks and copyright.

The homepage for the UK Ministry of Justice, who are responsible for Courts, Prisons, Probation services and Attendance centres.

UK Parliament Bills and Legislation
Bills and Legislation sets out the proposals for new laws, and plans to change existing laws, that are presented for debate before Parliament. Keep up to date with the progress of current and draft Bills before Parliament.
