The Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI) is 'an independent national charity which exists to campaign for justice in immigration, nationality and refugee law and policy.' Find news, briefings on law and policy and training courses.
OISC Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner
The OISC ensures that immigration advisers fulfill the requirements of good practice. Its web site includes a searchable register of advisers who are regulated by the OISC. NB other advisers such as practising solicitors, barristers and legal executives are not included and do not come under the remit of the OISC.
