Leighton Buzzard Library and Library Theatre are proud to present a fabulous programme of
events and exhibits highlighting traditional wool crafts.
We have teamed up with the Knitting and Crochet Guild and other crafting communities to knit together a fun filled day.
What's Happening?
- Yarn spinning demos
- Knitting Through the Ages Pop-Up Museum - displaying items kindly loaned from the Knitting and Crochet Guilds collection based in Lee Mills, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.
- Children's weaving craft - free tickets are available from the library
- Local knitters and stitchers available all day to answer your questions bring along a project you're working on and join us for a fun day
- Plus a selection of natural hand dyed fibres from different sheep breeds.

Meet the artists who are redefining the tradition of knit and crochet. Yarn weaves together wool graffiti artists, circus performers and structural designers into a
visually striking look at the women who are taking a stance while creating one of modern art’s hottest trends.
Tickets are £5.45 and £4.20 concessions, they can be booked via the Theatre or buy them online at Ticketsolve
