Dear Mrs. Johns,
Just to say George has arrived safely and is now with me. We shall take great care of him, so try not to worry about him. My boy is Head Boy at the Grammar School and is very pleased to have him. We also have another boy from W. Bromwich Grammar School and is the same age as George, so I've no doubt they will be great chums.
I expect you will be allowed to visit here. If so, we shall be pleased to see you at any time. I think George will be quite happy with us.
Yours sincerely, Florence R. Field
