Help with Your Account
Personal Summary
Click on the Your Account link on the navigation to view a summary of your library card details. At a glance you can see:
- How many items you have on loan
- How many reservations you have
- What outstanding charges there are
- Your loans history - details of items you have borrowed and requested in the past
- Revisit your Saved Searches and your Wishlist
You can also view your details as we have them on the library system, change your PIN and update or add your e-mail address.
Please remember to Sign Out after you have finished using ViewPoint
Your Personal Information
To see the personal information we have about you, click on the Personal Details link on the navigation. You may need to sign in using your library card number and PIN.
The Personal Information page shows the information we hold on our library system; address, e-mail, etc. You can click on any of the blue links to update your details. Changing them here will automatically change them on the library computer system.
From this page you can change or update your:
- address and telephone numbers
- email address
- choice of item available (request) notifications - e.g. post to e-mail
- PIN
If you have any questions you can Contact Us or contact your local library.
Loans History
This option on the navigation enables you to view your previous loans and reservations. Select whether you would like to view just loans or reservations, or both together from the dropdown list. You can also limit the timeperiod.
Saved Searches
All your saved searches are stored here - to access them click on the link 'Saved Searches' on the navigation.
To re-run the search simply click on the search name.
If you do not need the search anymore click on the link to delete.
Wishlist
The wishlist shows items that you have chosen to keep a record of so you can refer to it at a later stage, or add to the reservation basket to request.
You can delete the items from your wishlist by clicking on the option to delete.
