Above, the Murray code for the alphabet (lines 2-5).  On the first line the code is "not at work" and "ready to receive".  Lines 6 and 7 give special shorthand signals.  Reconstituted following the instructions given by the Admiralty in the text above.  The vertical space between the shutters is not shown.
