Commemorative brown plaque on the building to the immediate left of Shire Hall, on the south side of St Paul's square, opposite the church. Erected in 2009.

The inscription states:
Shire Hall Extension
Built in 1910 in Arts and Crafts style.
Designed by Charles Holden.
