This Chalton is the hamlet in the village of Toddington. There is also a smaller hamlet called Chalton in the village of Blunham.

c1540:Gostelow House built.

1906: Methodist Chapel built.

1981:Methodist Chapel closes.

1988:Former Tithe Barn and Scout Meeting place renovated to become new Community Hall at a cost of 50,000.
