1857: Methodist Chapel built.

1860: Caldecote Church School founded.

1867: The foundation stone of the church laid in July, the church was consecrated in Easter week 1868. The church was designed by Arthur Bloomfield.

1909: New Methodist Chapel built.

1921: Caldecote's first council houses built, six were built in Biggleswade Road.

1936: Caldecote Nursery, R.H. Marshall and Sons opens.

1984: Planning permission granted to build 6 flats and 15 houses on the site of the former Tower Transport Cafe.

2001: The Rose and Crown Public House closes in December.

2003: The Rose and Crown Public House demolished in November.

2007: Caldecote milestone restored and returned to its rightful place on The Great North Road (A1). The milestone was unearthed in a field in the nearby village of Edworth. (Bedfordshire on Sunday, 8th July)
