Find out about the Bookstart Bear's visit to the Library

 

Bookstart supports and encourages families to enjoy sharing stories, books and rhymes together.

Every child should receive two free Bookstart packs which will inspire a love of reading that will last a lifetime.  Details of the packs and how you receive them are listed below. 
Don't forget to bring your child's personal health record (Red Book) with you when you collect the packs so you can record that you have received them.

Why not join your child up to the library and take part in Bear's Reading Adventure.

You can get this pack from your
Health Visitor either at the new born visit or at the one year health check.  If you miss these then you can collect them from your local library
