The following notes are from ones made by Kate Parker (Wrest Park Volunteer History Research Team) summarising the Three Counties Radio 'Living History' broadcast interview with Dora Davies c. November 2013: She did weeding, potato picking, market gardening, setting potatoes, thrashing Crops grown were carrots, potatoes, sugar beet, brussel sprouts, cabbage Sugar beet was grown mostly at Silsoe at West End Farm She knew nothing at all about market gardening before she started Four ladies and Mr Fisher taught the Land Girls what to do
