Where can I find basic information sheets, meanings of words and abbreviations about mental health issues?

At the Information and Support section of the MIND web site there are many online factsheets and guides covering a wide range of topics
You can also find leaflets on many such topics at Mental health information on the Royal College of Psychiatrists web site. Some leaflets are for people needing information for themselves and some are specially for carers, parents and teachers
Many topics are covered in the Mental health and Well-being section of the NHS website
You can also search for mental health terms in the Virtual Library's e-resources.
