Wray describes the environs of Cairo including the pyramids and informs us that General Hutchinson took 13 embalmed corpses from the pyramids to send back to England. In the meantime the General also made peace with the French. The troops are sent back down the Nile where they remain for some time. Wray describes the cooking customs of the local women.
