Places > Meppershall > Churches
The church dates from the 12th century although the present chancel is chiefly 13th century with the present nave and aisles being Victorian. In 1875-77 extensive restoration took place beginning with the restoration of the chancel and the rebuilding of the nave and south porch and the addition of aisles.
In 1948 the south transept was furnished as a chapel in memory of those who died in the Second World War.
