Ingredients

1 copy of a map of Bedford dated 1902 (A4 size)

1 wet tea bag (squeezed fairly dry)

A little cooking oil (optional)
-
1 red ribbon
-
1 red seal (sticky on the back)

How to make your old map
- Click on the small image of the 1902 map of Bedford (above) and
print a copy.
- Cover a flat surface with some newspaper and place your map on
top.
- Dab the tea bag (squeezed out slightly) all over
the map to give it a brown tint.
- Allow to dry.
- This next stage is optional
If you would like your map to have an oily sheen, wipe it all over
with a piece of cotton wool soaked in cooking oil. Allow it to dry
again.
- Roll into a tube or scroll.
- Wrap the ribbon round the tube and fasten with the seal.
- Your map is complete!
