PressReader gives you access to over 7,000 newspapers and magazines from 120 countries in 60 languages, it provides instant access via your tablet, phone, laptop or PC. There are great additional functions available too - right click on the page to zoom in on the article, e-mail, print and listen to it. Or have the whole paper read to you. Want to read a paper/magazine from another country but don't speak the language? No problem just use the Translate option.

How do I access PressReader?

There are three ways to access PressReader:

• On the Virtual Library Log in with your library card number and PIN and click on PressReader to visit the site.
  You can search and read publications immediately, or Sign In with your card number and PIN for additional options.
• Using the PressReader app available from your app store - download, install and Sign In
• On the PressReader website – then Sign In

How do I Sign in?

• Click on 'Sign In' (top right hand corner)
• Click on the 'Library or Group' button
• Select 'Bedfordshire Libraries' from the list
• Enter your library card number and PIN
• You can enter more information if you wish - this will give you the chance to create a list of favourite publications, save articles, searches, etc.
  If you do not want to do this click 'No Thanks'
  
• Find the paper or magazine title you want to read
• Click on the cover page of the edition you want to read
• The page will state 'This issue of XXX brought to you by (our logos)'
• Enjoy!

Already got a PressReader account?

You can link your account to your library card number and PIN:

• 'Sign In' with your PressReader account
• Click on 'your name' when you are logged in and then 'click on My Account'
• Choose to link to 'Library or Group' - search for 'Bedfordshire Libraries'
• Enter your 'library card number and PIN'
• You are now linked and can use either option to Sign In.

Newspapers

The newspapers are loaded on the day of publication and are available for 90 days from publication. The collection includes all the major UK newspapers, plus supplements and magazines. Including; The Guardian, The Independent, The Mirror, Daily Mail, The Express, Daily Star and so many more. To discover the UK publications just log in and select 'UK' from the 'Titles by Country' section on the left hand side of the screen.

Magazines

The selection of magazines available for online streaming is growing every day, below is a list of just some of the titles available to entice you to take a closer look. To see the full list of titles scroll down the list of countries under 'Publications by Country' on the left hand side and click on 'UK'.
