Joining the Library
Anyone can join the library it's easy and FREE!
How do I join?
- You can join
online.
Get all the form filling out of the way before you come to the library. You can join as a full library member, or as a Virtual Library member and have access to our online resources from home. - Visit your local
library.
Fill out a form and we will need to see one document which proves your name and address (For details of accepted proofs of identification click here). You will then be issued with your own library ticket which is valid at any library in Bedfordshire.
If you are a member of another library service you can use your library card as identification to have an Instant Library Card.
Don't worry if you do not have any proofs of identification - an Instant Library Card will enable you to borrow a limited selection of items immediately.
If you are aged 16 or under you will need a parent or guardian's signature to join the library and a separate signature to allow you full Internet access.
