Help with Requesting Not in Stock Titles

This enables you to reserve titles you have not been able to find on the library catalogue. Either brand new titles we have not bought yet, or old stock which we do not hold but can get for you from out of the county. You must be logged in, so please click on the Log On link and enter your library card number and PIN.

This will take you to a page entitled 'Not in Stock' Request'. There are two options on this page:

  • If you wish to request an adult non fiction book, a factual book, we may be able to buy or request it from out of the county through the inter library loan system.
  • If you wish to request adult fiction, children's stock and any audio visual item, such as CD, DVD or Spoken Word, we can only attempt to buy copies of these, as we cannot use the inter library loan system.

Read the notes that are on the Not in Stock page, or below, as they will help you to make a decision about which button to press.
