Turvey Watermill

Places > Turvey > Mills

In 1885 John Battams built a new watermill at Turvey alongside an earlier stone driven watermill. The mill burned down a few years later but was replaced. The watermill was working as late as 1947. Owned by the Quenby family for many years the watermill was converted into houses and apartments circa 1990.
