The British Newspaper Archive is only available in the libraries via the public computers or by connecting to the WiFi.
The resource gives you free access to millions of news articles going back over 200 years from newspapers both national and local in any Bedford Borough or Central Bedfordshire library.
The partnership between the British Library and findmypast aims to digitise up to 40 million newspaper pages from the British Library's vast collection over the next 10 years. It is a fantastic local and family history resource, but also perfect for research into social, political, military history and so much more.
