Meet Local Author Diana Jackson

Local author Diana Jackson will talk about what inspired her to write her third novel `Murder, now and then`, a murder mystery set in the heart of Bedfordshire. She will also discuss her fascinating research into a local unsolved murder in Haynes back in 1919 and give a snapshot of her writing journey so far. Tickets £1.50 including refreshments.

Self Publication Workshop

Diana Jackson will briefly outline her journey from traditional to self publishing and the inspiration behind her business Eventispress, which empowers local authors to find the best route to publish their work. She will also introduce Brian Kerr, an author from Eventispress who has recently released An Unassuming County - The making of Bedfordshire countryside. He will discuss his book and what it was like to work in a publishing co-operative with Diana. Tickets 1.50 including refreshments
