DEMENTIA AWARENESS WEEK WITH CHRIS CARLING at Bedford Central Library
Join Chris as she shares her experiences of caring for her parents who both had dementia of different kinds at the same time. Her book But Then Something Happened - A Story of Everyday Dementia tells the story of the familys experience and her efforts to navigate the health and social care systems. The book is also a love story exploring how her parents were able to sustain their 70 year marriage in spite of their double dementia. Tickets £1 available from Bedford Central Library
