Obituary of Sam Harcourt Boys in May 1791 edition of The Gentleman's Magazine or Trader's Monthly Intelligencer 1731

Transcription of the obituary of Sam Harcourt Boys

At the Rev. Mr. Whitehead's school, at Sevenoaks in Kent, aged 13, Master Sam. Harcourt Boys, eldest son of Wm B. esq of Wigsell, in Sussex. His death was occasioned  by a circumstance the most trivial : one of his schoolfellows having playfully put a bit of paper upon the head of the former,  in the act of shaking it off he struck himself so violently against a flint wall, that, fracturing his skull, he lived but a few days.
